Resolution 14486CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. APPOINTING MAYOR JOHNSON AS THE CITY'S DELEGATE FOR VOTING PURPOSES AT THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING WHEREAS, on September 17, the League of California Cities will hold its Annual Business Meeting in San Diego, California, at the conclusion of the Annual Conference; and WHEREAS, on June 15. the City Council appointed Councilmember Tam as the City's voting delegate for the Annual Business Meeting and Vice Mayor deHaan as the alternate; and WHEREAS, neither Councilmember Tam nor Vice Mayor deHaan is able to attend the League conference; and WHEREAS, Mayor Johnson will be attending the conference. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Alameda appoints Mayor Johnson as the City's delegate for voting purposes at the League of California Cities Annual Business Meeting. 7.1 1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the City of Alameda during the Regular Meeting of the City Council on the 7th day of September, 2010, by the following vote to wit: AYES: Councilmembers deHaan, Gilmore, Matarrese, Tam and Mayor Johnson - 5.
