RATE AND LEVYING A TAX ON
ALL REAL AND PERSONAL
PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1950-1951 AND APPOR-
TIONING THE S21ME AMONG
THE SEVERAL FUNDS OF THE
CITY,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALA-
MEDA:
SECTION L That the rate of city
taxes to be lovied for the fiscal year
beginning July 1, 1950, and ending
June 30, 1951, upon all property as-
ses-sed for taxation within the cor-
porate limits of the City of Alameda
on the basis of the valuation there-
of as shown by the assessment roll
set forth opposite each such desig-
nated fund or special purpose, as
follows:

SECTION 4. This ordinance shall
be in full force and affect imme-
diately from and after its final
passage.

SE'CTI'ON 2. That a tax in the

lars ($1.72) be, and the same is
hereby, fixed and levied on each
and every one hundred dollars ($100)
of assessed valuation of all taxable
property, real and personal, within
the corporate limits of said city, for
the purpose of raising the necessary
revenue for said city for the fiscal
year 1950-1951.
SECTION 3. That, said tax, and
the moneys arising there-from, when
collected, shall be, and the same
are hereby, appropri•ted to and ap-
portioned among the several funds
and special purposes of the city
hereinafter designated, in the pro-
portion and amounts respectively
1, the undersigned hereby certify
that the foregoing Ordinance was
duly and regularly adopted and
passed by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting as-
sembled on the 19th day of Septem-
ber, 1950, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Anderson,
Jones, Osborn, Sweeney and Presl-
dent Brans (5).
NOES. None.
ABSENT: None.
