AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC -
TION 2 -115 OF TITLE 11, CHAPTER
1, ARTICLE 1, OF THE ALAMEDA
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ORDER OF BUSINESS OF THE
CITY COUNCIL.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL, OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
SECTION 1. That Suction 2 -115 of
Title 11, Chapter 1, Article 1, of the
AIameda Municipal. Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:
2 -115. ORDER OF BUSINESS.
Promptly at the hour appointed for
each regular meeting, the members
of the Council, the City Clerk, City
Attorney, City Engineer and City
Manager shall assemble in the Council
Chamber. Thereupon business shall be
taken up for consideration and dispo-
sition in the following order:
1. Roll Call.
2 Approving the journal of proceed-
ings.
3. Opening of bids.
4. Written communications.
5. Oral communications.
6. Hearings on protests or petitions
relative to zoning, street proceed-
ings, or on other matters.
7. Reports of committees, boards or
officers.
8. Introduction of ordinances.
9 Unfinished business.
10. New business.
11. Resolutions.
12. Ordinances for passage.
13. Payment of bills.
14. Adjournment,

The foregoing order of business may
be suspended at any Council meeting
by a majority vote of the members in
attendance.
A true, typewritten copy of the min-
kites of proceedings of regular and
special meetings not theretofore ap-
proved, as the same shall be entered
in the journal of proceedings, shall be
mailed by the City Clerk to each
Councilman at least 24 hours before
regular meetings. Unless otherwise or-
dered by the Council, the minutes of
meetings may be approved without a
reading of the same.
