AN ORDINANCE VACATING A CER-
TAIN POLE ANCHOR EASEMENT
AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECU-
TION OF A QUITCLAIM DEED TO
CENTRAL AVENUE LAND DEVEL-
OPMENT CO.
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda
heretofore acquired an easement for
the purpose of installing, maintaining,
replacing, removing and renewing
thereon anchors and guys for the
support of power and communication
lines to be constructed within that
certain subdivision known as Tract
No. 1085, in the parcel of land herein-
after particularly described; and
WHEREAS, it is no longer necessary
for the City of Alameda to retain the
easement in said land hereinafter de-
scribed and it appears to the Council
of the City of Alameda that said ease-
ment is not now and will not in the
future be required by said City for
pole anchor purposes, or for any other
purposes;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIN-
ED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That the easement for pole
anchor purposes over, under and
across that certain land situate in the
City of Alameda, County of Alameda,
State of California, and particularly
described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection
of the easterly property line of
Hansen Avenue and the property
line between Lots 2 and 3, in Tract
1085; thence S 47 25' 22" E 20 feet
to a point on the lot line; thence
N 42° 22' 49" E 5 feet, thence N
47° 25' 22" W 20 feet; thence S 42
22' 49" W 5 feet to the point of
beginning,
be, and the same is hereby, aban-
doned and vacated.
Section 2. That the Mayor of the
City of Alameda be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to execute,
and the City Clerk to attest, as the act
and deed of the City of Alameda, a
quitclaim deed remising, releasing and
quitclaiming to Central Avenue Land
Development Co., a copartnership, all
of said City's right, title and interest
in and to the easement described in
Section 1 hereof.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after
the expiration of thirty (30) days from
the date of its final passage.

McCall, Moresi and President Sweeney,

NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
