AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC-
TION 13-1933 OF TITLE X111.
CHAPTER 1, OF THE ALAMEDA
MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO
BUSINESS LICENSES AND BUSI-
NESS LICENSE FEES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That Section 13-1933 of
Title XIII, Chapter 1, of the Alameda
Municipal Code is hereby amended to
read as follows:
See. 13-1933. PEDDLER, SOLICI-
TOR. Every person conducting the
business of peddling any goods,
wares, merchandise or other thing
of value, or soliciting for the sale or
taking orders for, or offering to sell
or take orders for such goods, wares,
merchandise or other thing of value
for present or future delivery, or for
service to be performed immediately,
or in the future, and not otherwise
specifically licensed by this code or
any ordinance of the City of Ala-
meda, excepting newspapers, period-
icals, and publications, shall pay a
quarterly license of $15.00 for each
person employed in such business,
for a term ending three (3) months
from the date of issuance of such
license.
Section 2. This ordinance, being an
ordinance fixing the rate of taxes to
be levied, shall be in full force and
effect immediately upon final passage.

ABSENT: None.
