AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING
AND REZONING CERTAIN PROP-
ERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA BY AMENDING ZON-
ING ORDINANCE NO. 1277, N. S.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 11 -116 of Ordi-
nance No. 1277, N. S. is hereby
amended by reclassifying and re-
zoning from C -1 (Neighborhood
Business) District to an R -2 (Two -
Family Residence) District all the
real property situate within the City
of Alameda as described below:
To find the point of beginning,
start at Tide Land Survey Stake
No. 9, as listed on Table II,
Meanders of Salt Marshes, ac-
cording to "Map No. 2 of Salt
Marsh and Tide Lands situated
in the County of Alameda, State
of California," 1871, prepared by
order of the Board of Tide Land
Commissioners and on file in the
office of the said Commissioners
in San Francisco; certified copies '
thereof having been flied with
the Surveyor General of the
State and with the , County Re-
corder of the City and County
of San Francisco; running thence
north 59' 00' 20" west 1.91- feet
to a point; thence north 56 40'
30 ". east 160.82. feet; : ' at
right angles north -33° 19' 30"
west 770.00 feet; thence south
56° 40' 30" west 68.20 feet to the
actual point of commencement;

ment shall be known as and re-
ferred to as Reclassification and Re-
zoning Amendment No. 5 to Ordi-
nance No. 1277. N. S.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall
be in full 'force -` and effect from
and after the expiration ' of thirty
(30) days from the -date of its final
passage.
