AN ORDINANCE : AUTHORIZING
THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN
CITY- OWNED -REAL cPROPERTY
TO THE ALAMEDA UNIFIED
SCHOOL DISTRICT (EXCESS
PROPERTY TILDEN; WAY.
WHEREAS; the City of Alameda is
the owner of certain real ,:property
situate in the City of Alameda, Coun-
ty of Alameda, State of California, as
hereinafter described; and '
'WHEREAS, the aforesaid ' real prop-
erty is no longer required by the City
of Alameda for municipal purposes,
and public convenience and necessity
require the disposal of said real
property, and
- WHEREAS, the said real property
has no monetary eons idcration either
for the City of 'Alameda or to the
Alameda 'Unified - School District;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT <OR-
DAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ALAMED'A:
Section I That the City of Ala-
nieda transfer unto the Alameda Uni-
fied' School District all that certain
real property situate in the City of
Alameda County of Alameda State
of California, and more particularly
described as follows:
COMMENCING at the intersection
of the northeasterly line of Eagle
Avenue: with the southeasterly line
of the Pancoast Tract as said line
and avenue are shown on "Plat
of the Pancoast' Tract, Alameda."
recorded May 13, 1876 at page; 2,
in Map Book 4 of Official Records
of Alameda County, said intersec-
tion being also the most southerly
corner of the parcel of land des-
cribed in deed rfrom Lovinah B.
Jones and George C. Jones, her
huahand;. the Southern .Pacific
Company; recorded February '23,
1907 at :page 17, in Book 1340 of

to a point on the south line of
Tilden `Way, 70 feet in 'width,' as
said way is shown on Drawing

0.15 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING.
Section 2. That the Mayor of the
City of Alameda is hereby authorized
and directed to execute, for and on
behalf of the City of Alameda, a
quitclaim deed conveying said real
property to the Alameda Unified
School District, and the City Clerk is
directed to attest to the same,
Section 3. This ordinance shall be
in full _'force and effect from and
after the expiration of thirty %(30)
days from the date of its final
passage.
