Ordinance 1370ORDINANCE NO. 1370 New Series AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN CITY - OWNED REAL PROPERTY TO FRANK S. AND JOYCE K. SAN - DIRK (EkCESS PROPERTY----TIL- DEN WAY). WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is the owner of certain real property situate in. the City of Alameda, Coun- ty o:£ Alameda, State of California, as hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, the aforesaid real prop- erty is no longer required by the City of Alameda for municipal pur- poses, and public convenience and necessity require the disposal of said real property; and WHEREAS, Frank S. Sandirk and Joyce K. Sandirk, his wife, have offered to purchase said real prop- erty from the City of Alameda for the sum of $25.00; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT OR- DAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA: Section 1. That the City of Ala- meda transfer unto the said Frank S. Sandirk and Joyce K. Sandirk, his wife, as joint tenants, all that certain real property situate in the City of Alameda, County of Ala- meda, State of California, and more particularly described as follows: COMMENCING at the intersec- tion of the southwesterly Pane of Eagle Avenue with the north- westerly line of Broadway as said lines and streets are shown on the map "Plat of the Pancoast Tract, Alameda," filed May 13, 1876, at page 2, Map Book 4, Offi- cial Records of Alameda County; THENCE along said northwest- erly line of Broadway South 34° 12' 23" West 132.79 feet (based on the California Coordinate Sys- tem, Zone TIT, as are all bearings and distances in this description) to the northeastern line of the parcel of land described in the deed from John H. Harris, et ux., to Frank S. Sandirk, et ux., re- corded June 7, 1948, . at page 439, Book 5521, Official Records of Alameda County; THENCE along said northeast- ern line North 55 36' 25" West 121.00 feet to the most northerly Ordinance No, 1370 1 Ne,, Series corner of said parcel, said cor- ner being the TRUE POINT OF BEGI.NNING; THENCE along the northern line of said parcel Smith 81° 40' 48" West 10.24 feet to the south- ern line of Tilden Way; THENCE along said southern line North 75° 03' 05" East 9.16 feet to the extension northwest - erly of the northeastern line of said parcel; THENCE along said extension South 55° 36' 25" East 1.56 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGIN- NING, for and in consideration of the sum of TWENTY -FIVE ($25.00) DOLLARS, to be paid in cash to the City of Alameda by the said Fran! S. San- dirk and Joyce K. Sandirk coinci- dent with the tender of a grant deed conveying said real property. Section 2. That the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby author- ized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Alameda, a grant deed conveying said real property to Frank S. Sandirk and Joyce K. Sandirk, his wife, as joint tenants, and the City Clerk is di- rected to attest the same. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage. FRANZ S.
