AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTI-
CLE 7, CHAPTER 2, TITLE XVII,
OF THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL
CODE BY ADDING THERETO A
NEW SECTION KNOWN AS SEC-
TION 17-272 (PROHIBITED PEDES-
TRIAN TRAFFIC—TILDEN WAY).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That Article 7, Chapter
2, Title XVIL of the Alameda M 'cl-
urn
pal Code is hereby amended by add-
ing thereto a new Section 17-272, and
subsection (1), whicii shall read as
follows:
See, 17-272. Pedestrian Traffic
Prohibited on Certain Streets and
Highways. It shall be unlawful
for any person to utilize any por-
tion of the following described
areas for pedestrian traffic:
(1) Tilden Way, between Park
Street and the southerly end of
Fruitvale Avenue Bridge.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be
in full force and effect train and
after the expiration of thirty (30)
days from the date of its final
passage.
