AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING
GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR
ROADWAY PURPOSES TO SHIZU --
TOSHI TAKEDA (TILDEN WAY
PROJECT).
WHEREAS, in connection with the
widening of Tilden Way, it is deemed
necessary and in the best interests
of the City of Alameda to grant an
easement for purposes of ingress and
egress to Shizutoshi Takeda;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT OR-
DAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That the City of Ala-
meda grant to Shizutoshi Takeda a
non- exclusive easement for purposes
of ingress and egress to abutting real
property owned by said Shizutoshi
Takeda over and across that cer.
tain real property situate in the City
of Alameda, County of Alameda,
State of California, and more par -
ticularly described as follows:
A strip or parcel of land 10.00
feet wide, further described
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the
northwesterly line of Everett
Street, 60.00 feet wide, distant
along said line. North 34° 23' 18"
East 9.64 feet (based on the Cali-
fornia Coordinate System; Zone
III, as are all bearings, distances
and coordinates in this descrip-
tion) from the southwesterly line
of the parcel of land described
in deed from Henry,Zilke, et ux.,
to Mack Tucker, et ux. recorded
at page 139, Book 5092 of Offi-
cial Records of Alameda Coun-
ty, said point having the coordi-
natesy= 465,895.87 feet and
x=- 1,497,854.81 -feet, and being a
point on the north line of Tilden
Way;
THENCE along said north line
South 80° 58' 00" West 53.45 feet;
THENCE North 55° 51' 43" West
1462 feet to a line drawn parallel
with and 10.00 feet at sight angles
from said north dine of Tilden
Way;
THENCE along said parallel
line North 80° 58' 00" East 73.57
feet to said northwesterly line of
Everett Street;
THENCE along said northwest-
erly line South 34° 23' 18" West
13.77 feet to the BEGINNING.
Section 2. That the Mayor of the
City of Alameda be, and he is here-
by, authorized to execute for and
on behalf of the City of Alameda
the necessary document conveying
the interest of the City of Alameda
in the easement in real property re-
ferred to above, and the City Clerk
is directed to attest to same.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and
after the expiration of thirty (3N
days from the date of its final
passage.
