AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING
AND REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA BY AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1277, N.S.
(M -2 -G to R -4 and C -I Districts,
Estuary Housing Project)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALA -
MEDA as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 11 -116 of
Ordinance No, 1277, N.S., is hereby
amended by reclassifying and re-
zoning from M -2 -G, General Indus-
trial (Mfg.)- Government District,
to R -4, Neighborhood Apartment
District, and C -1, Neighborhood
Business District, all the real prop-
erty situate within the City of
Alameda described below:
To R-4: In the State of California,
County of Alameda, City of Ala-
meda, beginning at the intersec-
tion of the western line of the
18.193 acre tract of land de-
scribed in the deed by The Re-
gents of the University of Cali-
fornia to State of California
dated December 21, 1945, recorded
February 14, 1955 in book 7567
of Official Records of Alameda
County, page 117, (AK/16020);
with the northern line of the 13.28
acre tract of land described in
said deed; and running thence
along the western line of said
18.193 acre tract north, 2° 47' 17"
east 183.99 feet to the true Point
of Beginning; thence continuing
along said western line north 2°
47' 17" east 961.31 feet to the
southern line of the parcel of
land described in the deed by

(30) days from the date of its final
passage.
