Ordinance 1553Alameda lit Ordinances Ordinance No. 1553 New Series New Series AMENDING THE ALAMEDA XU- NICIPAL CODE BY ADDING A NEW ARTICLE 6 (SECTIONS 3 -161 THROUGH 3 -163) TO CHAF- TER 1 OF TITLE III THEREOF, CREATING A TRUST .TIDELANDS FUND BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALA - MEDA: Section 1. Chapter 1, Title III of the Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding Article 6 thereto, containing Sections 3 -161 through 3 -163, to read as follows: Article 6. Trust Tidelands Fund Sec. 3 -161. Trust Tidelands Fund Established. There is hereby cre- ated a separate account or fund to be known as the "Trust Tidelands Fund" for the purpose of account- ing for revenues and disbursements arising out of ownership by the City of that certain property de- scribed in Acts of the Legislature of the State of California, found in Stats. 1913, Chapter 348, page 707, as amended by Stats. 1917, Chapter 594, page 907. Seca 3 -162. Revenues to Fund. All rents, issues, profits, sates, tolls, charges or other revenue accruing to the City which are derived from or attributable to the use of said land pursuant to said statutes shall be deposited in the Fund. Sec. 3 -1.63. Disbursements from Fund. Monies in said Fund shall be expended solely for: (1) the estab- lishment, improvement and con- duct of a harbor, and for the con- struction, maintenance and opera- tion thereon of wharves, docks, piers, slips, quays and other utilt- ties, warehouses, factories, store- houses, structures and appliances necessary or convenient for the pro- motion, benefit and accommodation of commerce and navigation; (2) development, construction, opera- tion and maintenance of such other facilities and .appurtenances thereon, or convenient thereto, as are gen- erally or specifically authorized by said Acts; and (3) such other use or purposes as are now or may in the future be authorized by law for expenditure of revenues derived from said tidelands. Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage. WILLIAM M.
