AN ORDINANCE 'AMENDING
THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL
CODE BY AMENDING SECTION
17 -366 THEREOF, RELATING TO
TIME OF OPERATION OF ON-
STREET PARKING METERS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE C' I T Y OF
ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That Section 17 -366
of the Al : meda Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as
follows:
17 -366. It shall be unlawful
for any person to cause, allow,
permit or suffer any vehicle
registered in his name or oper-
ated or controlled by him to
be p rked in any parking space
upon any street within a park-
ing meter zone next to which a
parking meter is established,
for more than the time indi-
cated by proper signs placed in
such parking meter zones in-
dicating the maximum parking
time allowed in such parking
space, or any time during which
meter is displ ying a signal in-
dicating that the space is illeg-
ally in use except during the
time necessary to set the, said
meter to show legal parking,
and excepting also during the
tune from 5:00 p.m, to 10:00
a.m. and on Sundays and on
legal holidays.
Section 2. This ordinance shall
be in full force and effect from
and after the expiration of thirty
(30) days from the date of its
fin 1 passage.
