AMENDING 'FHE ALAMEDA MUNICI-
PAL CODE BY AMENDING SECTIONS
7-315, 7-317 AND 7-318 THEREOF, AND
REPEALING SECTIONS 7-319 AND 7-3110
THEREOF, RELATING TO THE REGIS-
TRATION AND LICENSING OF BICY-
CLES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAMEDA:
Section 1. The Alameda Mu-
nicipal Code is hereby amend-
ed by amending Sections 7-315,
7-317 and 7-318 to read as
follows:
Sec.7-315. Every person
requiring a bicycle license
shall pay to the City a
license fee of One Dollar
(S1.00) at the time applica-
tion therefor is made.
Sec. 7-317. Upon approval
of t h e application and
payment of the license fee,
the Chief of Police shall
issue a registration card
and a bicycle license plate,
or other identification af-
fixed to the bicycle, which
shall be effective until
ownership of the bicycle is
changed, at which time
said card and license shall
expire.
Sec. 7-318. Every person
acquiring ownership of a
bicycle which has previous-
ly been licensed shall with-
in ten (10) days of such
acquisition comply with the
licensing provisions of this
Art#C10.
Section 2. Sections 7-319 and
7-3110 are hereby repealed.
Section 3. this ordinance
shall be in full force and
effect from and after the ex-
piration of thirty (30) days
