Ordinance 1644Ordinance NO. 1644 New Series AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PORTIONS OF THE ALAMEDA MUNL CIPAL CODE RELATING TO TRAFFIC REGULATIONS BE IT ORDAIN ED 13Y THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAM EDA: Section 1. That'Section 17-432 (Stop Intersections) of the Ala- meda Municipal Code is hereby amended by repealing subsec- tion (177) and by adding subse- section (188) thereto which shall read as follows: (188) Pacific Avenue and Fifth Street, signs shall be erected on Pacific Avenue at or near the northeasterly and southwesterly corners of its intersection with Fifth Street and on Fifth Street at or near the northwesterly and south- easterly corners of its inter- section with Pacific Ave- nue. Section 2. That Section 17-431 (Through Highway) of the Ala- meda Municipal Code is hereby amended by amending subsec- tion (8) to read as follows: (8) Pacific Avenue, from the easterly line of Main Street to the westerly line of Webster Street, excluding however, its intersections with Third Street, Marshall Way (east bound traffic only) and Fifth Street. Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its final passage, TERRY LA CROIX, JR.
