AMENDING THE ALAMEDA
MUNICIPAL CODE BY
AMENDING SECTION 2 -312
THEREOF, RELATING TO
MEMBERSHIP OF
RECREATION COMMISSION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ALAM EDA:
Section 1. Section 2 -312 of the
Alameda Municipal Code is
hereby amended to read:
Sec. 2-312. Membership —
Appointment — Removal. Said
Commission shall consist of
seven (7) regular members,
and one (1) ex officio member
who shall be the City Manager
of the City of Alameda and who
shall not be entitled to vote at
a n y meetings or other
proceedings.
The seven regular members
shall. upon the nomination of
the Mayor, be appointed by the
City Council. The term of such
members shall be for three (3)
years and thereafter until the
successor of such member is
appointed and qualified, and
all terms shall begin on the
first day of October. A vacancy
in the office of any such
member shall be filled for the
unexpired term by nomination
and appointment in the manner
herelnabove set forth.
A regular member may be
removed by the affirmative
vote of four (4) members of
the City Council.
Section 2. This ordinance
shall be in full force and effect
from and after the expiration
of thirty (30) days from the
date of its final passage
