Authorizing grant of nonexclusive easement for public utility purposes to east bay municipal utility district pacific gas and electric company and pacific telephone and telegraph company
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY 01= ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That the City of Alameda
grant to East Bay Municipal Utility
District, a public corporation, Pacific
Gas and Electric Company, a corpora-
tion, and Pacific Telephone and
Telegraph Company, a corporation, a
non - exclusive easement for the pur-
pose of installing, constructing,
operating, maintaining and repairing
pipe lines, conduits, cables, wires and
appurtenances necessary for public
utility purposes in, over, under and
along the following real property in fhe
City of Alameda, County of Alameda,
State of California, described as:
COMMENCING at the City Survev
momument having coordinates
Y ;466,724,77 feet and Xm1,483,668.85
feet based on California Coordinate
System, Zone 3, as are all bearings
and distances in this description,
said monument being at the
southwesterly terminus of Balleno
Boulevard as said monument and
Boulevard are shown upon that
certain map entitled, "TRACT 3011,
BALLENA BAY COMMUNITY,
ALAMEDA,, CALIFORNIA." filed
September 13, 1968, in Book 59 of
Aldus at Dagn 6 thru 9, inclusiV ,
County of Alameda Records,
California;
TH E N CE S. 10 15'34" E. 1,292.63 feet to
the TRUE POINT OF BEGIN-
NING, said point being at the most
southeasterly corner of Parcel 2 of
Grant of Non - exclusive Easements
under City of Alameda Ordinance
No. 1583 (New Series) as adopted
and passed by said City on January
21, 1969, said corner being at the
northerly terminus of the most
southeasterly line having a course,
"S. 20° 52' 30" W. 33.00 feet," of said
Parcel 2;

concave northeasterly having a
radius of 351 feet (a radial line of
said curve through last said point
bears S. 20 52' 30" W.) through a
central angle of 15° 23' 18" for an
arc distance of 94.27 feet;
THENCE along a line tangent to last
said curve S. 84 30' 48" E. 100.90
feet;
THENCE along a tangent curve con-
cave southwesterly having a radius
of 419 feet through a central angle of
08° 25' 01" for an arc distance of
61.55 feet;
THENCE along a fine tangent to last
said curve S. 76° 05' 47" E. 136.06
feet;
THENCE along a tangent curve con-
cave southwesterly having a radius
of 119 feet through a central angle of
32° 31' 17" for an arc distance of
67.55 feet to a point of reverse cur-
vature through which a radial line
of last said curve bears N. 46° 25'
30" E.;

curve concave northeasterly hav-
ing a radius of 145 feet through a

THENCE along a line radial to last said
curve N. 20° 52` 30" E. 33.00 feet to
the TRUE POINT OF BEGIN-
NING, last described course being
common with the most southeas-
terly line of Parcel 2 hereinabove
referred to.
Containing 0.358 acres of land, more
or less.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk
be, and each hereby is, authorized and
directed to execute and to attest to,
respectively, on behalf of the City of
Alameda, appropriate grants of said
easements to said corporations.
Provided, however, said grants shall
reserve to the City the right to use said
real property for other municipal pur-
poses, including but not limited to,
public streets, sewers, wires, conduits
and necessary appurtenances.
Section 3. This ordinance shalt be in
full force and effect from and after the
expiration of thirty (30) days from the
date of its final passage.
