AMENDING THE ALAMEDA
MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING
SECTION 13-3121 THERETO, RELATING TO SALES SOLICITATION FOR
CHARITABLE PURPOSES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. Chapter 3, ''Charitable.
Solicitations Permits,'' Article 1, of
Title XII[ of the Alameda Municip
Code is hereby amended by adding a
new Section 13-3121 thereto to read:
Sec. 13-3121, Non•Tax-Exempt Or-
ganization — ''Sale for Charitable
Purposes Card" Reuuired. Any per-
son, as defined in Section 13-311 (e),
not having, at the time a perrrijf
under this Article is required, a
charifable tax-exempt status under
federal and state laws, s h a ll h ave
and utilize a card or document en-
fifled, "Sale for Charifable Purposes
Card," in the manner Provided for
and in accordance with Section
17510.3, Business and Prafession_
Code of California,
Section 2, This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect frown and after the
expiration of thirty (30) days frown the
date of its final passage,
