AUTHORIZING PURCHASE OF
REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1317
PACIFIC AVENUE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 000N-
CIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1. That the City of Alameda
Purchase from MARGARET C. and
FRANK C. CRUZ, in fee simple, for the
sum of Thirty -three Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($33,500), all that cer-
tain real property commonly designat-
ed as 1317 Pacific Avenue situated in
the City of Alameda, County of
Alameda, State of California, par-
ticularly described as:
A portion of Block A as shown on
"Map of 144 Lots in Page Tract,
Alameda Co." filed February 25,
1874, in Book 6 of Maps, Page 7, Of-
ficial Records of Alameda County,
and more particularly described as
follows:
The eastern 16.67 feet of Lot 8,
as said lot is shown on said map.
The western 16.67 feet of Lot 9,
as said lot is shown on said map.
The eastern 33.34 feet of the
western 66.67 feet of Lot 13, as
said lot is shown on the above -
mentioned map.
Containing 0.115 Acres, more or less.
Section 2. That a Pnod and sufficient
deed of grant from said Owner, con-
veying said real property to the City, be
deposited in escrow with an established
land title insurance company to be
selected by the City Manager, along
with appropriate instructions, and the
City's warrant for said purchase price,
Plus cost of a policy of land title in-
surance and other fees of said escrow
holder. Said purchase price shall be
Paid to owner when said policy is issued
insuring title in City and when said deed
can be delivered to the City by said
escrow holder.
Section 3. That the sum of $33,500,
together with a sum sufficient to pay
the cost of title insurance and other in-
cidental expenses of said acquisition be
appropriated from Revenue Sharing
Funds (Account No. 355) to pay the
purchase price of said real property,
cost of said insurance and incidental
expenses,
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after the
expiration of thirty (30) days from the
date of its final passage.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify

the Council of the City of Alameda in
regular meeting assembled on the 7th

Hurwitz, McCall and President La
Croix, Jr. (5).
NOES: None.
