Amending the alameda municipal code by amending section 11-14B11 thereof relating to abatement schedule for non-conforming outdoor advertising display signs
1. The expiration of the useful life of
the sign or signs for federal income
tax purposes;
2. The recovery of the owner's in-
vestment, including cosi of installa-
tion, as measured by the sum of the
net income earned. Net income
earned shall be defined as gross
revenues earned less expenses of
operation and administration and a
provision for a ten percent (10%)
return on invested capital.
3. The passage of fifteen (15) years
from the date of completion of the
sign; or
4, The passage of five (5)vearsfrom
February 16, 1973 (the effective date
of Ordinance No. 1683, N.S).
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after the
expiration of thirty (30) days from the
date of its final passage.
