Amending the alameda municipal code by amending section 4-333 thereof prohibiting fishing on cola ballena bridge (Emergency Legislation)
Section 2. This ordinance is one of
great necessity and urgency within the
meaning of Section 3.12 of the City
Charter, is introduced and passed of the
some Council meeting and shall
become effective on June 4, 1975.
Section 3. The facts constituting the
necessity and urgency hereof are:
(1) That a health hazard exists
because of the trash and litter left on
the bridge by those fishing.
(2) That a safety Problem exists
when those who fish choose to do so
on the unprotected side of the bridge
exposing them to possible vehicular
iniury.
(3) That the health and safety of
those living in the vicinity of the
bridge are threatened by the hazar-
dous condition created by the
allowance of fishing from the
bridge.
(4) This Council hereby finds, de-
termines and declares that it is in the
best Public interest and necessity
that this ordinance be introduced
and passed atthe regular meeting of
the City Council held June 3, 1975,
and that this ordinancci become and
be in full force and effect June 4,
1975,
