AMENDING THE ALAMEDA
MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING
SUBSECTION (71) TO SECTION 17 -333
THEREOF, RELATING TO ALL TIME
AND LIMITED NO PARKING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CILOFTHE CITY OFALAMEDAthat:
Section 1. Section 17 -333 (Ali Time
and Limited No Parking) of the
Alameda Municipal Code is hereby
amended by adding subsection (71)
thereto, to read as follows:
(71) Santa Clara Avenue, on the
southerly side thereof, between
point 23.5 feet westerly of the west
line of Everett Street and a point
38 feet westerly therefrom;
between the hours of 6 a.m. to 8
a.m., buses excepted.
Section 2. This ordinance is one of
great necessity and urgency within the
meaning of Section 3-12 of the City
Charter, is introduced and passed at the '
same Council meeting and shall

necessity and urgency hereof are:
1. That traffic regulations are essen-
tial for the orderly: flow and control . of
traffic within the City.
2. That such regulations should
necessarily be immediately effective
on passage to insure that maximum
Preservation of public welfare is ob-
tained. -
3. That a potential health and safety
problem will exist if such amendment
is not immediately effective.
4. That, in light of such potential
health and safety problems involved,
the normal delay between enactment of
this ordinance and its effective date
would be injurious.
5. This Council hereby finds, deter-
mines and declares that it is in the best
interest and necessity that this or-
dinance be introduced and passed at
the regular meeting of the City Council
held September 2, 1975, and that this
ordinance( become and be in full force
and effect September 3, 1975.
