AMENDING ARTICLE 3 OF
CHAPTER 1, TITLE XI OF THE
ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY
AMENDING CERTAIN SUBSEC-
TIONS THEREOF, RELATING TO
ZONING DISTRICT REGULATIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUN-
CIL OFTHE CITY OF ALAMEDA that:
Section 1. Article 3 of Chapter 1, Title
XI of the Alameda Municipal Code is
hereby amended by amending subsec-
tion (b) of Section 11.1330; and subsec-
tion (b) of Section 11 -1334 to read as
follows:
Sec. 11 -1330. (b) The following and
similar retail business uses when
conducted principally within
enclosed structures and where said
uses are not doing business between
the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.:

similar retail, business, or service
uses when conducted principally
within enclosed structure:
Section 2, Article 3 of Chapter 1,
Title XI of the Alameda Municipal
Code is hereby amended by adding
subsections M, (i), and (k) to Section
11 -1335; by adding subsections (e), (f),
ig), (h) and 0) to Section 11 -1339; by
adding subsections (e), (f), (g) and (h)
to Section 11 -1347; and by adding sub-
sections (e), (f), (g), (h), (i), (I), (k)
and (1) to Section 11 -1351 to read as
fellows:
Se7c._ -1335. Uses Requiring Use
Permits.
M Ice dispensing stations (au-
tomatic),
(I) Taxi stands,
(k) Any uses permitted in C -1 and
C -2 districts which are not conducted
within an enclosed structure.
See. 11 -1339. Uses Requiring Use
Permits.
(e) Boat sales and service
(f) Car washing establishments
(g) Machinery sales, rentals and
services
(h) Storage yards for motor
vehicles, but excluding truck units
as defined in Sec. 11- 1229.1.
(i) Permitted uses which are not
conducted within an enclosed build-
ing or structure.
Sec. 11 -1347. Uses Requiring Use
Permits.
(e) Roilroad Yards.
(f) Shipping terminals.
(g) Truck cleaning and washing
establishments.
(h) Permitted uses which are not
conducted within an enclosed build-
ing or structure.
Sec. 11 -1351. Uses Requiring Use
Permits.
(e) Airport and related facilities,
aircraft landing areas.
(f) Asphalt botching plants,
including hot mix.
(g) Concrete products manufac-
turing, botching plants.
(h) Lumber yard (wholesale),
kiln.
(1) Railroad Yards.
(I) Shipbuilding and repairing
(over 100 tons).
(k) Shipping Terminals.
(1) Permitted uses which are not
conducted within an enclosed build-
ing or structure.
Section 3. Article 3 of Chapter 1, Title
XI of the Alameda Municipal Code is
hereby amended by repealing subsec-
tions (b) (16) and (31) of Section
11 -1334; by repealing subsections (b)
(4), (S), (23) and (35) of Section 11 -1338;
by repealing subsections (b) (19), (20)
and (22) of Section 11 -1346; and by
repealing subsections (b) (1), (2), (5),
(12), (23), (24) and (25) of Section
11 -1350.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after the
expiration of thirty (30) days from the
date of its final passage.
