AMENDING TIM ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING
SUBSECTION (b) OF SECTION 11 -314.5 THCREOF
RELATING TO DIVISION OF CONTIGUOUS LOTS
BE IT ORDAINED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that:
Section 1 The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended
by amending subsection (b) of Section 11 -314.5 thereof, to read
as follows:
Sec, 11- 314.5 Contiguous Lots
(b) A division of lots shall be exempt from the
provisions of this Chapter where each lot created by the
division was either recorded as a plat or subdivision map
or created prior to the time such maps were required and
each lot:
(1) Conforms to the standards for minimum lot
size required to permit use or development
under zoning, subdivision or other ordinances; or
(2) Is occupied by a dwelling or business structure
for which either a building permit was issued
or none was required at the time of construc-
tion; and
(3) Abuts adequate street and sidewalk improvements.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and

effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from
the date of its final passage,
