AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING
SECTION 13 -154.1 THERETO TO PROHIBIT SALES
ACTIVITIES DURING A TEN -DAY PROCESSING PERIOD
OF INTERSTATE COMMERCE LICENSE EXEMPTION STATEMENTS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that:
Section 1 . The Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended
by adding Section 13 -154.1 to Article 5, Chapter 1 of Title XIII
thereof, to read:
Sec. 13- 154.1 Sales Activities Prohibited during
Ten -day Processing Period It is unlawful for any person
to solicit for the sale of, offer for sale or sell from
house to house or by telephone within the corporate limits
of the City of Alameda any goods, wares or merchandise
whatsoever, subscriptions to any kind of publication,
tickets, coupons or receipts representing value or redeem-
able in any kind of consideration where the same are solely
and strictly within and a part of interstate commerce,
until ten (10) calendar days after having registered as
