AMENDING SECTION 17 -333 OF THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ALL TIME AND LIMITED NO PARKING
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that:
Section 1 . Section 17 -333 (All Time and Limited No Park-
ing) of the Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended by amending
subsections (32) and (54) thereof to read as follows:
(32) Shore Line Drive, no stopping, parking, or
standing between the hours of 9:00 a.m, and 5:00 p.m.
(54) West side of Westli.ne Drive, from Otis Drive
to Shore Line Drive, no stopping, parking or standing
between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Section 2 . This ordinance is one of great necessity and
urgency within the meaning of Section 3 -12 of the City Charter,
is introduced and passed at the same Council meeting and shall
become effective on February 7, 1979.
Section 3 . The facts constituting the necessity and
urgency hereof are:
1. That traffic regulations are essential for the orderly
flow and control of traffic within the City.
2. That such regulations should necessarily be immediately
effective on passage to insure that maximum preservation of public
welfare is obtained.
3. That a potential health and safety problem will exist
if such amendments are not immediately effective.
4. That, in light of such potential health and safety
problems involved, the normal delay between enactment of this
ordinance and its effective date would be injurious.
5. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares

that it is in the best interest and necessity that this ordinance
be introduced and passed at the regular meeting of the City
Council held February 6, 1979, and that this ordinance become
and be in full force and effect February 7, 1979.

1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing
Ordinance was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council
of the City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 6th day
of February, 1979, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Beckam, Diament, Sherratt, Tillman,
and President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
