AMENDING THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE BY AMENDING
SECTION 17 -335 THEREOF RELATING TO HOURS OF
PUBLIC PARKING IN THE CITY HALL PARKING LOT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA:
Section 1 . Section 17 -335 of the Alameda Municipal
Code is hereby amended by amending subsection (1) thereof to
read as follows:
(1) The City Manager shall designate the particular
area of said City Hall parking lot that shall be
used for parking purposes by City officers, City
vehicles, other governmental officials, and the
particular area that shall be used by the general
public while conducting business at City govern-
mental offices. Not less than fourteen (14)
parking spaces shall be allocated for use by the
general public;
Said fourteen (14) parking spaces shall not be
used by any City employee during his normal working
hours;
Said fourteen (14) parking spaces shall be used,
as described above, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 n_m_.
Monday through Thursday and from 8 :00 a.m. to 5:00
p.m. on Fridays. There shall be a maximum time
limit of two (2) hours parking during the hours

or b;uu a.m. to S:UU p.m., Saturdays, Sundays
and holidays excluded, and shall have signs
posted stating said limits.
Section 2 . This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from
the date of its final passage.

in regular meeting assembled on the 5th day of June, 1979, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Diament, Sherratt, Stone, Tillman, and
President Corica, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
