AMENDING TITLE XVII OF THE ALAMEDA MUNICIPAL CODE
TO ESTABLISH THE INTERSECTIONS OF SAN ANTONIO AVENUE
WITH ST. CHARLES STREET AND WITH MORTON STREET AS
FOUR -WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that:
Section 1 . Title XVII, Chapter 4, Article 3, of the
Alameda Municipal Code is hereby amended by amending subsections
(33) and (35) of Section 17 -432 (Stop Intersections) thereof,
to read:
(33) San Antonio Avenue and Morton Street, signs
shall be erected on Morton Street at or near the north-
westerly and southeasterly corners of its intersection
with San Antonio Avenue, and on San Antonio Avenue at
or near the northeasterly and southwesterly corners of
its intersection with Morton Street.
(35) San Antonio Avenue and St. Charles Street,
signs shall be erected on St. Charles Street at or near
the northwesterly and southeasterly corners of its
intersection with San Antonio Avenue, and on San Antonio
Avenue at or near the northeasterly and southwesterly
corners of its intersection with St. Charles Street.
Section 2 . This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from
the date of its final passage.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Urdinance
was duly and regularly adopted and passed by the Council of the
City of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 16th .of November, 1982,
by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Gorman, Sherratt,'Stone and President Corica - 4.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Diament - 1.
