AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING AND REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA BY APIENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1277, NEW SERIES
APPLICANT: Dr. Kent J. Farney, 888 Willow Street
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . Section 11 -116 of Ordinance No. 1277 N.S., is hereby
amended by reclassifying and rezoning from R -4, Neighborhood Apartment
District to R -5, General Apartment District, all the real property situate
within the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, described
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the southeastern line of Willow Street, 40.0U
feet wide, distant thereon south 29 47' 23" west 75.02 feet from
the point of intersection thereof with the southwestern line of
Clinton Avenue, as said street and avenue are shoin on the map of
"Tract 1866 Sheet No. 4, filed October 30, 1957, in Book 38 of
Maps, pages 50 to 54, inclusive, in the office of the County Recorder
of Alameda County, thence south 60 12' 37" east 7.00 feet to a point
on the southeastern line of Willow Street, as described in instrument
from Fauna B. Rommell, a single woman, to City of Alameda, a municipal
corporation, dated Play 16, 1958, recorded July 2, 1958 under Recorder's
Series No. AP/64748, in Book 8712 page 215, official records of Alameda
County, said last "mentioned point being the actual point of commencement;
thence continuing south 60 0 12' 37" east 22.38 feet; thence south 29
47' 23" west 9.49 feet; thence south 60 12' 37" east 20.62 feet;
thence south 29 47''23" west 112.14 feet to a point on the southwestern
boundary line of the property of Fauna B. Rommell, as established
in the agreement between Fauna B. Rommell and Utah Construction Company,
a corporation, dated February 10, 1956, recorded February 27, 1956, under
Recorder's Series No. AL /19986, in Book 7945 of official records of
Alameda County, Page 471, thence along the said last mentioned line
north 62 17' 01" west 40.04 feet, more or.less, to a point on the
said southeastern line of Willow Street, as described in instrument
to City of Alameda; thence along the said last-mentioned line the
three following courses and distances; north 29 47' 23" east 49.64
feet; thence north 60 12' 37" west 3.00 feet, and thence north 29
47' 23" east 73.44 feet to the actual point of commencement.
Section 2 . The above amendment shall be known as and referred to
as Reclassification and Rezoning Amendment No. 124 to Ordinance No. 1277, N.S.

Section 3 . This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date of its finla
passage.
