Resolution 11915CITY OF ALAMEDA RESOLUTION NO. 11915 AMENDING THE COMBINED LAND USE PLAN OF THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA BY AMENDING THE LAND USE PLAN MAP DESIGNATION FROM OPEN SPACE TO LIGHT INDUSTRIAL, FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF MAITLAND DRIVE AND HARBOR BAY PARKWAY. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda has considered General. Plan Amendment GPA-89-3 to change the land user designation from Open Space to Light Industrial, the property located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Maitland Drive and Harbor Bay Parkway; and WHEREAS, said City Council has held a public hearing on this matter and has examined pertinent maps, drawings, and documents; and findings: WHEREAS, the City Council has made the following 1. There would be no adverse effect on the environment from the proposed General Plan Amendment. 2. The proposed Light Industrial designation would permit the proposed recreational vehicle, boat and mini-storage facility, which applicant is required to construct under terms of their settlement agreement with the City. 3. Under a Planned Development, other uses could be permitted only after having been reviewed for their appropriateness at the specific location by the Planning Board. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Alameda to approve the proposed amendment to the Combined Meaglmartfrilthe General Plan.
