ORDERING VACATION OF CERTAIN EASEMENTS AND
PORTIONS OF EASEMENTS WITHIN THE ALAMEDA
MARINA VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda approved
the final map for Tract 6096 on August 15, 1989; and
WHEREAS, said map identified several easements proposed
to be abandoned in the Pacific Marina area of the Marina Village
development; and
WHEREAS, said map established new easements to adequately
replace all easements proposed to be vacated; and
WHEREAS, proposed vacations have been reviewed and
approved by the Engineering Division, Planning Department, the
Bureau of Electricity , Pacific Bell, Pacific Gas & Electric, and
United Cable Television; and
WHEREAS, a legal description describing the portions of
easements proposed to be abandoned is attached hereto as Exhibit
A, and a plat map is on file with the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Alameda that:
(1) It is hereby found and determined that the easements
and/or portions thereof described in Exhibit A are unnecessary for
present or prospective public use, and have been superseded by
relocation, and there are no public facilities located thereon.
(2) It is hereby ordered that the easements within the
Alameda Marina Village, described in Exhibit A. attached, are hereby
vacated pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 4, Part 3, Division
9, of the California Streets and Highways Code, and particularly--:
Section 8333 thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall cause
certified copies of this order, attested under seal, to be recorded .7g
in the County Recorder's Office and from and after the date this
resolution is recorded, said portions of easements no longer shall
constitute easements.

Being all of those certain easements or portions thereof, hereinafter more

Page 74, Official Records of Alameda County, hereinafter referred to as
"casement C ".
Easement D
That certain 20' wide "Shoreline Access Easement" dedicated to the City of
Alameda on Parcel Map No. 3755 recorded on May 21, 1982 in Book 133 of Maps,
Page 74, Official Records of Alameda County, hereinafter referred to as
"Easement D ".
Easement E
That certain 18' wide "Access Easement" dedicated to the City of Alameda on
