NESOLUTION IV RE: GASOLINE TAX AND MOTOR VEHIOLX FUND,
RESULVED, that it is the no of the council of the City of Alameda that
in caae a law be enacted to impose a tax on gasoline, ono-third of the revenue there-
from should be distributed to the monicDpalaties and the other two-thirds between the
counties and the state; also that the motor vehicle fund be likewdse distributed, both
of said funds to be used in all oases exclusively fox improving or repairing main streets
or highTays forming part of the state or ouunty system;
_VD, that 4 copy of these resolutions be sent to the prese and another
copy to our Senator and Assemblyman at Sacramento.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned
regular meeting assembled on the 27th day of March, 1923, by the follOwing vote, 1.0 it.
