RESOLUTION OF hWARD.
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda did, in open session, on the
20th day of March, 1923, publicly open, examine, and. declare all sealed proposals
or bid or doing the plastering work in the construction of the proposed Alameda
Health Center building to be erected on the south aide of Santa Clara Avenue between
Oak and Walnut Streets in said city, in accordance with thb rians and specifications
adopted therefor,
RESOLVED, that the Council hereby reject all of said propoeals or bids
for said plastering work except that of the bidder net herein mentioned, and hereby
awards the contract for doing the plastering work in the construction of said build-
ing to Wm. Makin, for the sum of Five Thouaand Nine Rundred Seventy and No/100 Dollars
970.00).
The mayor and. ex-officio president of the Council is hereby empowered and
directed for and on behalf uf ths City of Alameda, to enter into and sign a contract
with said Wa4 Makin for doing the plastering work in the construction of said build-
ing
or the amount aforcstated, sail work to be done in. accordance with the plans aid
specifications adopted therefor and the proposal or bid of said. Wri. Makin, on file with
the city olerhu

and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in adjourned
regular meeting assembled on the 27th day uf March, 1923, by the follcvdng vote, towity
