ORDERING TEE CLOSING a? ARBOR STREET BETWEEN
BUENA VISTA AVENUE ADD ITS NORTHERLY TERMINATION.
wHamAs., the City Council of the City cf Alameda did on the 5th day of
June, 1923, hops its resolution of Intention No. 65, New Serios, for the closing
and abandoning of Arhor Street in sold city from the northerly line cf Buena Vista
Avenue to the northerly termination of said Arbor Street,
AND UHEREAS, said resolution of intention declared that no land was deemed
necessary to be taken for the or of closing and abandoning saiC street, and that
the exterior boundaries of the district of lands affected and to be assessed to pay
the damages, (nista and. expenses thereof are the corporate boundaries of the City of
Alameda,
AID WREREAZ, it appears that the street superinteadent caused to be tested
along the line of sadd contemplated work and improvement notices: of the passage of
said resolution in time, form. and manner as required by said act, and that ha else,
causod a notice similar in substance to be duly published in the Alameda Times 27tar
in time, form and manner as required by said act,
AND WHEREAS, it appears from the records on file in the office of :the city
clerk that no :protests or objections have been filed againht the proposed work and
improvement of caosing and abandoning said street, and. the City Council having nor
acquired jurisdiction to order said work to be dene, now therefore be it
PESOLVTD that Arbor Street in the City of Alameda from the northerly line
omruena Vista Avenue to the northhrly termination cf said Arbor Street be, and the
same is hereby closed. and abandosed for street purposes—
