CLOSING THE ALLEYS In FLOCES 81, 82h ETC,
WEEPHAS, the Council of the City of Alameda . passed and adopted its Resolu-
tion of Intention No, 3', New Series, under and. ty virtue of the terms of which said
council declared its intention to order the closing up arid. abandoning of the alleys
hereinafter descriind: and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said resolution and an Act of the Legislature of
the Htate of Chaifbrna, entitled, 'An Act to provide for 1ay1ng out and opendng, au:tend-
ing, wider:10g, straightening, or closing UT in whole or in art any street, s1= ,lane,
alley, coprt or :place adthly: municipalities, and to talcs; and acquire any and add land and
property necessary or convenient for that Jou:moose," approved ilarch 6, 1E59, caused the
publication of the notices and. advertisements required by law to be published by the Street
Superintendent of said city, in relation to sai2 . work and iprovemont; and.
WEE:PEAS, it appears, that said publication was made -rn3 tr re:soiree by law: and
WITEREAS it further appears that the Street Superintendent caused to he con-
spicuously posted notices of nwblic work under said Resolution of Intention 'o reouired.
by law; and
WEERRAS, no written objections against said work and improvement were received
or filed as provided by law, now therefore be it
R=OD, that public interest and convenience require that the tallys herein-
after mentioned be, and thay are hereby closed up and. abandonod for high -way phi-poses.,
