WFEREAti, the PIANATAL COMPANY, a California corporation, did on February
19, 1924, make application in writing for a permit to dredge or and fil/ in toe
following described lands within: the City of Alameda, to-wit:

Land as partitionnd among tUe owners thereof- in the suit numbered 8923
and entitled 'Paoific Improvement Comsany, Plaintiff, vs. James A. Way-
mire, et al., Defendants, auperior Court of Alameda County, atate of
California,'" filed in the office of the county recorder of Alameda
County JUne 00, 1900, and covering approximately 70 cares thereof,
AND WEE.REAa, said application was male, signed and presented to the council
in time, form and manner as required ty the provisions of Ordinance ro. 91, N. S., of
tha City o2 Alameda, and said applicant having furninhed and delivered to the city clerk
a bond, in the on of FIVE THOUNAND DCILARa (500G.00), with sufficient sureties, as
required, by the provisions of said ordinance, and the city council having duly considered
the same, now therefore te it
RETSOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that said permit be, lind the
same L4 hereby granted, and said company is hereby permitted to fill said lands to an
elevation not exceeding four feet above the present surface of the ground, with material
to Ica taken from the Alaska Packers' now slip at the foot of Benton Street; also that the
dyke be reduced to the same elevation after completion.
