ENDORSING, THE A ITLICATI ON OF TEE ENO _ AL TERMINALS
FOR A ;TERMINAL liATE.
THEREAS, the .Encinal Terminals is constructing a new terminal of eighty-
six (86; acres in extent on the Alameda side of San Antonio Estuary, and
'NEEREAS, application has been made to the United States Intercoastal Con-
ference to emend its west bound tariff so as to include the City of Alameda in its
list of regular Dacific Coast terminals, and
WHEREAS, the granting of said application world be of great benefit to the
City of Alameda and, the industries located along, said Estuary, now therefore be it
RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Alameda that said. Council hereby
endorses and approves said application, and urges said' conference to give the same
favorable condition.
.RESOLVED that a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to the
conference headquarters in New York City.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly intro duced and adopted by the Council of the City 0±' ,tlameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 5th day of August, 1924, by the following vote, to wit:
