•WHEREAS, the building inspector of the City of Alameda did on the 4th day of
October, 1924, find. that that cerMein building or structure .3.17 at No. 2047 Lincoln
Avenue, in said city, had become so dilapidated from old age or neglect as to be a public
nuisarbe as spenified in Section 1, Ordinance Ht. 151, New Series, of said City of Alameda,
AND WEEMEAS, said 17' inspector thereupon gave notice to the owner thereof
by hostage or 17, as provided in Section 2 of said ordinance, as appeurs from the
affidavit of said building; inspector on file with the city olerS, directing the owner
thereof to appear before the council of the City 01 Alameda on October 21, 1924, and show
cause, if any he has, why said 3031. 11.3 or structure' Should not be condemned as a public
nuisance and abated as proTided in said ordinance:,
ANdi WHEREAS, in accordante with said. notice, said. owner of said building., Alameda
Investment Company, appeared before the ".3,7 111. by its representative, F. E. Strang, and

AUL WEEHEAS, the council having heard the testimony of the building inspecter,
the owber and other persons respecting the condition of said. btildang or structure sougbt
to be condested, and. the estimated cost of its reconstruction, repair or removal, and hav-
ing coteitered all matters and. things in connection therewith and having reached. the con-
clusion. that said building should be razed and removed, now therefore

situate, lying and being on the premises known and numbered as No. 2047 Lincoln. Avenue,
in the City of 1.l. 31'-, is a. pullic nuisance and the owner thereof is hereby dirctted to
abate said. nuisance wUthin thirty (30) days from the date of the o"- go of this resclu-
titan,

ing the 'same razed• or rmshved; and notice is hereby give'7 . to said owner that if said
nuisance is not CO abated, said building or structure shall be razed or removed 'ey the
buildinF inzrector and the expense thereof made a lien on the lot or parcel of lend from
which it was removed.
Upon the passage of this resolution the buildinF inspector of the of
Alameda shaAl post a or-dry thereof conspicuously on the taildhnK or structure so condemned,
and shall mall ainother copy to said Alameda. Investment Co., the company named as the owner
thereof on the hooks of the city assessor, after which he 2hal1 file his affidavit with
the city cleihr certified as to the time and manner of 04.7021111 and malling a copy of this
re0olution.
