RESOLUTION 01' INTENTION NO. 74,
New Series.
(Bay.Island Avenue between Regent and Pearl Streets)..
RESOLVED, that it is the intention of the Council of the City of Alameda to
order the following work to be done and improvement to be made in said city, to wit:
That Bay Island Avenue, from the eastern line of Regent Street to the east-
ern line of Pearl Street, be graded; also that concrete cUrls, gutters, gutter bridges,
and sidewalks be constructed thereon; also that corrugated iron culverts be installed
therein and that the roadway thereof be paved with.a six inch oiled macadam pavement.
All of said work shall be done in accordance with the plans and specifica-
tions adopted therefor and now on file in the office of the city clerk.
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, the 6th day of January', 1925, at
eight o'clock p. m., in the Council Chamber of the City Council in the city hall of
said city, any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work and improve-
ment may appear before said council and show cause why said proposed. improvement should
not be carried out in accordance with this resolution.
The clerk shall cause this resolution of intention to be published twice in
the "Alameda Times-Star", a daily newspaper published and circulated in said city and
hereby designated for that purpose by said city council.
The street superintendent shall cause to be conspicuously posted along the
line of said contemplated work and improvement and in front of all the property liable
to be assessed, notices of the passage of this resolution of intention, in the time,
form and manner required by law.
All the herein proposed work shall be done in pursuance of an act of the
legislature of the State of California designated the "Improvement Act of 1911",
approved April 7, 1911, and amendments thereto.
I, the 'undersigned; hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the End day of December, 1924, by the following vote, to wit:
