REQUESTING AN EARLY DISTRIBUTION OB LEGISLATIVE BILLS.
WHEREAS, the state constitution was amended in 1911 so as to provide for the
sessions of the legislature to be divided into two periods with an interval of thirty
days between in order to enable the bills to be introduced at the first half of the
session and distributed among the people of the stet( so that they might examine them
during the recess, now therefore, be it
RESOLVED that the legislature be, and it is hereby requested to have all the
tills introduced at the first session, printed and distributed among Inc interested
people of the state as soon as possible so they may Bnow what changes and new laws have
been proposed for adoption.
RESOLVED that a 'copy of these resolutions be sent to our reuresentatieves at
Sacramento,
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and
regularly introduced and ',Adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular meet-
ing assembled on the 20th day of January, 192B, by the following vote, to wit:
