AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO HEE:JEST THE 8112 381 WATER COMPANY TO
INSTALL LARGER 881 MAINS AND IMPROVED FIRE HYDRANT'S OM CERTAIN STREETS.
WHEREAS, public interest demandn the installation of. larger water mains in the
eastern part of the city, together with improved fire hydrants, iov; therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Codnull of the City of Alameda, that the City Manager te, and
he is hprety authorized and directed. for and on behalf' of the Nounhil to redupst the Bast
Bay Water Company to install larger water mains and improved fire hydrants, under Decision
No. 13601 cf the Railroad Commission. of the State of California, on the following streets
and svenues in said city, to-wit:
Six-inch Cast iron Mains.
On Eernside Boulevard, from Carfield Ave. to Enoinal Ave.
On Canfield Ave., from High Street to Bernaide Boulevard.
On Liberty Avenne from Kigh Street to Fernaide Bouaavard.
On Central Avenue from High Street to Eernside Boulevard.
On Briggs Avenue from Rernside Boulevard to connect with the present 4 inch
main on Briggs Avenue about half way to High Street.
On Encinal Avenue, from Bernside Boulevard to connect with the present exist-
ing 4 inch main 011 Encinal Avenue.
Two-way six. inch Hydrants.
Garfield Avenue, 'between High Street and Eernside Boulevard.
Garfield Averup and Eernside Boulevard.
Liberty Avenue and Bernside Boulevard.
Liberty Avenue, between High Street and Eernside Boulevard.
Central Avenue, between High Street and Eernside Boulevard.
Central Avenue end Eernside Boulevard.
Briggs -.Venue and Mernside Boulevard,
Encinal Avenue and Eeraside Boulevard.
