AUTHORI3IN3- PURCHASE 03 ROAD MACHINE.
WHEREAS, the Superintendent of Streets is desirous of purchasing a new
Haynes Universal Road Machine for the sum of Eleven Hundred and Fifty Dollars (1150.00),
with an allowance of Two Hundred and Ten Dollars (0210.0C) for return of the old machine
now owned by the city, payment therefor to be made on or before the third day of November,
1925, nos therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda that the Mayor be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with M. Haynes of Oakland for
the purchase of One Universal Road Machine complete for the sum of Eleven Hundred and
Fifty Dollars (01150.00), less the sum of Two Hundred and Ten Dollars (0210.00) as an
allowance on the return of the present old machine of said street department, payment
thereon to be made on or before November 3, 1925, and the City Clerk is directed to
attest the same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the 3rd day of March, 1925, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Latham, Reiss, Probst and President Otis, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Tilden, (1).
