RESCINDING AIL IUBLIC PROCEEDINGS HERETOTORE
TAKEN FOR THE IMPROVEMENT 07 CLAY ANT CALHOUN
STREETS BETWEEN REGENT AND BROADWAY.
WHEREAS, on January 19, 1925, the council of the City of Alameda passed
its Resolution of Intention No. 79, N. S., for the improvement of Clay aud Calhoun
Streets between Regent and Broadway;
AND WHEREAS, because of the protests of property owners; the improvement
of Clay Street was subsequently abandoned, while the improvement of Calhoun Street
was undertaken by private contract, thereby dispensing with the necessity of further
public proceedings; now therefore be it
RESOMD, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that said Resolution of
Intention No, 79, N. S. and all subsequent proceedings taken in connection therewith,
be and the same are hereby rescinded and annulled.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the council of the city of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled on the lSth day of May; 1926, by the following Tote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Latham, Neiss, Noble, Traver and President Otis, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
