WHEREAS, it seems desirable that the various imnicipalities comprising
the Bay Region about an 3rancisco Say should be included as 3 portion of the
Yetrepplitan Area; and
WHEREAS, the City of Alameda is logically a .part of the Metropolitan Area;
NOW, THEREEORE, BE 1.1 PIESOI7ED, that tho City Council oT the City of
Alameda, California, hereby respect117 requests the United States Sumeau
of Census that it be included it the general census of the San francisco Say
Region IdtTopolitan Area, and requests such. Census Bureau to establish a
(=etropolitan Area, including this with other communities in such Bay Region.
