its Res)lution. of Intention No, 87, New 8eries, under and by ,iirtne of the
termn of which said council declared its intention to close up. and abandon
the unnamed street running of the easterly side of Webster Street more par-
ticularly described 1 follows:
Commeneing at a point on the easterly line
of Tract 32, soid point being distant N. 5 06' W.,
1607.46 feet from tae southeast cornerof soid tract
32, as said tract is. delinestod and e0 designated upon
that certain Map, entitled "Map of Alemedo Marsh Land
30 partitioned among the ownefs thereof in the Suit
No. 3023, and untitled Pacific Improvement Co., :Plain-
tiff. vs, James A- Waymire, et al., Defendants, Surerior
Court of Alameda County, state of California", and filed
jaly 30, 1900, in the office of the County Recorder of
Alameda County in map took 25, pages 74 to 78 and rannin;
thence N. 50 56' w., along the easterly line of Tract 32,
80.52 Teat, to a point; thence S. 50° 10' W., 271.16 feet,
to a point on the easterly line of sebster $t; thence S.

Reserving and akcepting therefrom a 10 foot
strip of laud parallel with and along the southerly line

WHEREAS, in accordance with said reelution and an act of the legis-
lature of the State of California entitled "An act to provide for layinE out and
opening, extending, iideriij streightening or closing up, in whole or in part,
any street, square, lene,alley, court or place within municipalities and to take
and acquire any and all land and 7uroperty necessary or convenient for that pur-
pose", aphrovea March 5, 1889, said council aaased the passage and publication
of to' resolutions, notices end advertisehents required by law, and
WHEREAS, it 1J' 000.0 that the Street cuperintendent caused to be
conspicuously posted 'Notices of public Work" as requirbd by law; and
HEREAS, no objections egainnt said work and improvement have been
made agginat said closing as required by laww. and
WEERBAS, the council finds that. public interest and convenience
reouire the closing 11.70 and abandoning of the unnamed street running off the
easterly side. of Webster Street aforedescribed, now therefore be it
REASOINEE, that said unnamed street running off thn easterly aide •
of gel:aster street be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned.
