• RESOLUTION OF INTENTION.

RESOLVED, that it is the intention of the Council of the City of Alameda
to order the following, or to be done ond improvement to be made in said city, to-wit:
That washingtongStreet from the western propertY line af.High Street to the
western curb line of Poach Street, Le graded, and. have concrete curbs, Flatters, Futter
bridgas and sidewalks constructed thereon; else that cerrugeted iron culverts be:con-
struCted therein; also that the roadway thereof be paved with a six-inch oiledwmacadm
pevemhnt. "
All of said work shall Le done in accordance with the plans and specifi-
cations edopted therefor and now. on Tile in the office of the city clerk.
NOTICE. 19 KE3D3.: GIVSN that on Tuesday, the 5th day of Rebruary, 1O20,
at 9 otelook P.M., in the Council Chamber in the City Leal of said city, any .and all
persons hoving any objection to the proposed work or improvement may make and file with
the city clerk written protests according. to law, and appear before . said counoil
end show cause . way said broposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance
itb said resolution.
The clerk. 311211 cause this resolution of intention to be published twice
in 1111 Alameda Times-star, a daily newspaper published End circulated in sold city end
hereby desisnatod for that purpose by the City Council.
The 9treet Cuncrintendent shall cause to be conspicuously posted elonF .
the line of said contemplated work and improvement end in front of all the property
liable to be esseezed, notices of the passage of this resolution in the manner and-form
required by law.
The herein. proposed work shall be done in pursuanne of an act of legislature
designated the "Improvement Act of 1911", approved April 7, 1911, and omondmants
thereto.

meeting assembled on tha 2nd day of January, 1920, by the following vote, to wit:
