RESOLUTION AND PIUDINaS
Re Objections and Protests
Against doing the work as an entirety.
MHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda, on the 19th
day of 7ebruary, 1929, adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 89, N.S.,
for the improvement of Santa Clara Avenue, in said city, pursuant to the
provisions of the ”Acquieition and Improvement Act of 1925, reference
being hereby made to said resolution of intention for a description of
the work and improvement to be done and the boundaries of the dietrict to
be assessed, therefor,
AND WHEREAS, from affidavits on file with the clerk, it is
evident that said resolution of intention Was duly and regularly published,
and that notices of the passage thereof were duly end regularly posted,
all in the time, form and manner required by law and zaid,act,
AND WHEREAS, the day and hoar set for hearing all objections or
protests, as provided in section nine (9) of said act, having arrived, and
said council having announced its readiness to proceed and hear any and
all such objections or protests, first taking up any objections against
the doing of the work as an entirety.; and whereas, it is evident from the
records and files of the clerk that no objections whatever have teen filed
or made to the doing of Said work as an entirety, now therefore it is hereby
RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND DECLARED by the City Council of the City
of Alameda, and .said council hereby finds the fact to be as follows:
That the owners of more than one-half of the area of the property
included within the entire assessment district, as proposed, have not in .
writing made objection going to the ordering of the thing or things proposed
to be done, as an entirety, and the council will now proceed with hearing
any objections to the xtent of the aesessment district, and objections to
the grade or grades to which the improvement IS proposed to be constructed,
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of March, 1929, by the
following vote, to wit!
