RESOLUTION AND TINDINGS
Re Objections sad ?retests
Against Doing the York as an Tntirety.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Alameda, or the 19th clay of
7ebruory, 1929, adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 9C, N.s., for the
imTrevement of me na Vista Avenue, in said city, pursuant to the provisions
of the "Acquisition and Improvement Act of 1925", reference being hereby
made to said Resolution of ptert] on for a description of the work and
improvement to be done and the boundaries of the district to be assessed
therefor,
AND WHEREAS, from affidavits on file with the clerk, it is evident
that said Resolution of Intention was auly and regularly published, and that
notice s of the passage thereof were duly .ana regularly posted, all in the
time, form and manner required by larw and said act,
AND WHERTA,s, the day and hour set for hearing all objections or
protests, as provided in Section Nine (9) of said act, having arrived, and
said council having announoed its readiness to proceed and hear any and ail
such objections or protests, first taking•up any objections against the
doing of the work as en entirety; and whereus, it is evident fro m the
records and files of the clerk that no objections whatever have been filed
or mode to the doing of said work as an entirety, now therefore it is hereby
RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND DECLARED by the City Council of the it of
Al4meda, and sold council hereby finds the foot to be as follows:
That the owners of more than one-half at the area of the property
included within the entire assessment district, se proposed, hate not in
writing made objection „going to the ordering of the thing or things proposed
to be 5one, as on entirety; and the council will now proceed with hearing
any objections to the extent of the assessment district, and objections to
the grade or grades to which the improvement is proposed to be constructed.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly -and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 19th day of March, 1929, by fhe
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Calcutt, Latham, Neiss, Noble and ?resident
Otis, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
