AUTHORIZING HARBOR TUG AND BARGE COMPANY 90
TAKE POSSESSION PREMISES AT NOT OF GRAND
STREET.
WHEREAS, the Harbor Tug and Barge Company ie about to enter into
a lease with the city for certain lands at the foot of Grand Street, which
lease will not be effective for aixty (60) days, and
WHEREAS, said Herbor Tug and Barge Company is willing to enter
into immediate possession ard use of said lends under a revokable permit,
pending the time said lease may be executed, and, in the meantime, pay
the rental therefor as agreed upon with the oity coaxal]., now therefore
be it
RESOLVED: by the Council of the City of Alameda that the oity
manager be and he is hereby authorized to permit said Harbor Tug and Barge
Company to take immediate poesession and use of said land, pending the
sixty (60) days said lease may be executed, upon paying the total rental of
230.00 per month in edvanee.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City
of Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 3rd day of September, 1929,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Counoilmen:Brodersen, Calcutt, Henning, Tatham and President
Schaefer, (5).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: None.
