AUTHORIZING TRANSFER TO TEE COUNTY OF A RIGHT-OF-WAY
APPROACIdING BAY FARM ISLAND BRIDGE.
WIEREAS, the City of Alameda has recently acquired title to
a right-of-way hereinafter described which will enable widening the approach
to Bay Farm Island Bridge, and desires to transfer said right-of-way to the
County of Alameda in order that said county may prooeed with tte reconstruction
of said bridge without further delay, now therefore be it
RE2OLVED, by the Council of the City of Alameda, that said city
hereby grant and transfer to the County of Alameda and to the public, a right-
of-way nine (9) feet in width to straighten out and widen the easterly side of
the north approach to the Bay Farm Island Bridge over and across portions of
Tide Land Lot No. 5, in Section 19, Township 2 South, Range 3 West, Mount
Diablo Base and Meridian, and across the southwesterly corner of Lot 13, in
Block 1, Max, of Town of Alameda, filed September 12, 1867, in Book 5, page
16, in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County, California, more
particularly shown on the attached map.. And the Mayor is hereby authorized
to sign and execute said grant and. the City Clerk is directed to attest the
same.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing resolutian
was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of
Alameda in regular meeting assembled on the 15th day cf October, 1929, by the
following vote, to-wit:
AYES: Councilmen Brodersen, Calcutt, Hennia, Latham and President
Schaefer, (5).
